Mark,Al thanks there guy's.
Al,it's great having you here mate,i see you with a number of others here as one of the realy awesome builders who can create something from nothing.Your work's are fantastic and it's good to see ya posting em here!
Well for a change i nearly got through some progress without having any problems.Mostly everything today went well, and i was in that fun zone there for a bit.It did feel good!!
Anyway,i did have one small problem and after taking some pictures i see i need to line the little part's up betta on the back edge of the rear domes. The little problem i had was right at the end and it appears to be another width problem of the shuttle being made symmetrical? Not sure, but i'm using all original part's pretty much,it was just 4 pieces today that i used the castings of but the problem spot was using original part's.I can't help myself,i like sacrificing perfectly good kit's!!
Anyway, the two fork halves that sit along side of the Marder part will not both fit on the deck properly,i don't think it's anything to do with the Marder part so i think it's probably and under size thing again. We are only talking a couple of mm here but thats all it needs ta be also to have fitting problems.
Anyway,i got a bit layed out and glued down today.I've been laying it all out to make sure the key part's fit the working my way through it all.It was fun and thats something i haven't said in a while. The two Marder parts are not glued down,i'm thinking of painting them off the model like Mike suggested in his build thread perhaps.
It's actually starting to look a bit like a shuttle now.
