I understand it is a "badge of honor" to say that you have used the original kits as the studio model had. But, when one is as prolific as you are and needing the same kits over and over which are forever dwindling in the real world have you considered investing in getting some cast up? They will still "be" correct for all intents and purposes even if not rendered in Japanese injection molded plastic.
I know Don, but i dont have any rubber, and the one main piece wouldnt be easy to cast and would be prone to warping.(main body)
Besides, the whole kit is just chock full of the best greeblies out there, you would use gallons of rubber to cast all of the parts.
But... if I had a full kit, then I could cast up the parts I need.
I used all I had on the flattop.

Awww! man, that would be sweet! but, like I said before the main body would be a bitch to cast and all of those greeblies would be a pain.
