For my first post I thought I would share my Anigrand Medical Frigate and Tantive IV. These are wonderful kits and it's a shame they are no longer available. PM me for info on it.
The Frigate was painted flat black then a heavy mist of flat grey was sprayed. After that a lighter mist of flat white was applied. Weathering was done with pastel chalks of various colors. I added various stretched sprue antennas to the Frigate as well as some small photo etched metal pieces I had left over from an A-10 build.
The Tantive IV was treated to a slightly different painting process as I wanted them to be dissimilar even though they are both "white" The Corvette was painted flat black and then sprayed gloss white. It was weathered with a sludge wash. I added the top and botttom laser canons with stretched sprue and a photo etched metal antenna replaced the resin kit piece.
The shuttle that is seen in one of the pics is the bonus kit that comes with the 1/2256 Star Destroyer kit. It is less than half an inch long. The wings and sail are photo etched brass for scale thinness. Very impressive for such a tiny model. I'm still working on the SD. It takes a while to run 800 feet of fiber optic. It will make its debut at Wonderfest this year.
In the last pic is the little Odessey Slipways 1/50,000 SD. A neat little kit that is about an inch and a quarter long.
Enjoy the pics. Click on a pic for a full size image.
