I have the exhaust ports at just a hair over 2 1/2" myself, to fit the parts on the slopes. The center port is about 1/16" under that on the original, but I made mine the same depth.

I have been very buisy with other peoples builds lately ,but today i actually got some work done on the pegasus ! I made the body top cover ,engine top cover ,trimmed all the saturn v stages down ,cut the f16 body ,boxed in the back end of the engine plate opening ,and cut out the engine plate template .I even taped a few parts to the ol girl to see how things are lining up! I'll snap a few pics tommorrow ,and post them up .
