This is what I've been working on.. Its meant for engines and stuff like that.. maybe photon torps etc.. the speed of fade in and fade out can be controlled.. I programmed it so the lights will start out low.. when you hit the switch...the lights slowly come on... flick the switch again, and the ligths fade out..I just added a few lights to make the effect more dramatic.
