Some of these concept designs really do look amazing after being transformed from paper to an actual model.
You've done this one justice for sure and it's an impressive looking take on what might have been.

Sweet! I followed this on RPF and you have captured the painting X-Wing really well, and your paint job is top notch!
This build is one of the coolest non SS replicas I have seen!

REL - I want to be the first to welcome you back to the new version of studioscalemodelers.com with all new ownership, and administration.
This X looks spot on for the real thing! I wanted to do one of these forever. I just don't have the time now, as there are too many things on my table - literally! If anyone deserves to have a contract with a studio - it's defintely you! I can only think of two other people off the top of my head here on these forums that have built ILM style models recently that should have a contract as well. I love the lighting behind the R2 unit as well as, the lighting in the cockpit. The marks along the fuselage, and the wings as well as, the markings are excellent, but you already knew that.
Are any of these decals, or are these all painted on?~ Cobra Chris
