Studio-scale Galactica head section (TOS)

This has been one of the busiest years ever for me in terms of model making. After completing a filming miniature, I was finally able to get back to work finishing up some Galactica builds for other people.

This is a head section started earlier this year, but put on hold while I completed the filming model. It was finally delivered this week. It's actually the second head section I've built this year.

In the coming weeks I'll be building an entire battlestar for another client. The model will consist of the structure only, with the customer adding the surface details. After a few years of working on these for other people, I hope to finally start building one for myself soon.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. Otherwise, I'm going to get real tired of building these and retire! LOL

I know how excitted the owner of that would have been when that landed and he would have been blown away just the same!

Thanks! Looks like I won't get a chance to retire just yet. There are more modules to build first.

Richard 2001 has been here all week helping me put together an entire battlestar for another client. We hope it will be ready to ship by the end of this month. We just assembled the main armature. It's the first time I've been able to have that put together for my own build. We're using my armature to test fit all the different modules together. Once they are fitted, we'll break the sections back down and then pack the completed modules into a custom crate for shipping across country.

So much to do, so little time!
