Since my Star Destroyer project was finished, I have been asked what new things have I been working on. Well, I've been busy with projects that have taken several months to complete.
First, back in February I wrote a 10-page article for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modeller that will be in the July issue. Here are a few sample pages...

The second project... It was suggested to me that I write a book about all the work I did for the film 5-25-77. One of the deciding factors that convinced me to do it is the fact that a major distributor has been in talks with director Patrick Read Johnson. Although I cannot mention the distributor at this time, their interest in 5-25-77 (which is Star Wars related) has much to do with the fact that Star Wars will be making a comeback with new films.
In the last year the film has played at many places all over the country as part of a road trip, as well as three international film festivals (with others scheduled in the near future). A documentary is also in the works about the making of the film. All this means a release is immanent.
So the interest is there, and it seemed like a good time for a book.
The book, titled Building Dreams: A Movie-Making Adventure, is finally finished and ready for release. It is 150 pages with 64 photos, and a foreword by Patrick Read Johnson. It covers much of the last 10 years of my experiences, but begins with how I, as a little boy in a movie theater, became obsessed with Star Destroyers.
My intention is to instill hope, and inspire readers who have dreams of their own. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone!
So, if you love building models, and you love movies, and you have dreams of your own, then I know you will enjoy Building Dreams...
