HI All!

Ive recently become a new member here at studioscalemodelers, and I'm very excited to be part of the community. Im actually a 3D artist who loves alot of the subject material that is discussed here and I wanted to join in. Ive always loved making models as a kid growing up, and my passion is in scifi. Ive made several cg models from 2001 and Star Trek, and I've dreamed of getting one of my models rapid prototyped or 3d printed but in the meantime I look forward to sharing and learning with you all!

Here's a render of the Discovery from 2001:ASO which I made several years ago in 3ds max. Ive been in the process of re-texturing it and making it easier to rebuild for different render engines.

I take it it would be studio scale.
Theres a guy making a kit of this that is amazing.
