I have been making models since i was very young.
You know military models,airplanes even train houses,when i got my first real electric train.
I destroyed it by trying to make rain with real water
My first special effect i quess,..very dangerous!!!Kids do not try this at home!!
Models like Aurora the wolfman,dracula and frankenstein really got my interrest in modelmaking after winning them in a contest.
Figure painting became my main thing from then on.
I still love to build and paint well sculpted dinosaur models but figure modeling as is has lost my interrest.
A few years ago i stumbeled on a few websites that were dedicated to star wars models.
This made my clock really tick.
So many fantastic builds from simple kits to scratchbuilds
For months i sourced the web to find kit lists reference pictures and hard to find model kits(tamiya Yamato first tooling etc.) to use on my first studio scale build the Tie-Bomber.
After a more or less satifying build experience and an awesome Scratchbuild tie-bomber The MADNESS has begun.
My currentprojects:
AT-AT design fase, C.C X-wing kit and at the very moment scratch built Tie-fighter with real koolshade(not the vintage stuff though)
To do list before i die:falcon,star destroyer,....Deathstar???

Sites like these make my live easier in many ways.
Inspiring builds,advise from the more experienced modelers,kit reviews,kit scans etc.
I am looking foreward on reading the threads,helping out if i can and being inspired to new builds.
Thanks esspecially to Jason for accepting me as a member and the rest of you for their sharing of info and for letting me enjoy their modeling experiences.
I do hope i didn't bore you with all this talk!?
