I have been a model builder for some time now. Unfortunately, I was building things that I didn't really have any interest in. I just enjoyed building. Have always been a Star Wars geek just never knew about this niche until trying to locate models in the subject. I have done several of the Fine molds and Bandai kits, but their built so well it takes all the challenges of building out of it, kinda small too. Then I found studio scale!
Up until now I've just been reading and gaining information. Not the best at part id yet but I'm learning. I really appreciate those of you that have done parts maps and kit lists and are willing to share! There are some really awesome/inspirational builds/builders located here. I aspire to build as good as you do!
Right now I'm still collecting kits needed, I have a very good start. I have also started a Tie Defender mock up using chipboard to get my proportions correct( and yes I know there is not a studio scale Defender). I hope that one day I will be able to contribute and inspire as many of you have done for me!
Thanks again, Jason
