My Colonial Movers Saga...

OK I'm DONE! (well almost there's a little something else I'll be adding very soon)

There's a fair few things wrong with this build, however it was started before just about any others around here were :-) Since then a few more good photos of the original have surfaced. I know just about everywhere that it's wrong, but at some point I had to cal it a day and move on.

I added a small scale cockpit to the front, seemed like an obvious thing to do. The scale works out to 1/250th so I added a couple of 6-7mm figures too.

Now I just need to figure out where to put it!

Biggest problem I have is that the engine section is a fair bit heavier than the front. For now there's 6 AA batteries in the nose to help, but it's not enough.

Congrats Lee on what has been when hell of a long journey for you with this project. Sure looks the part to my eyes even if things are not completely 100% parts wise. As with any of the SS subjects there is only a small percentage of people that would ever really know. End result though after paint and weathering is, SPECTACULAR! You really do fabulous work when it comes to that and this pieces is just another example highlighting it once again. It looks fantastic!!

Thanks! Couldn't have finished it without your help! Really glad it's done and I can get to the next one. Crazy that I've finished 4 models this year. Still have two small additions that I'll post pics of tomorrow :-)

It's in the works. Picked up the pipe last night on the way home from work and it's being welded today. Done a little more to it all since you've last seen it as well. Won't be too long and it'll be back home again soon for you to have some fun.
