eh up all, sorry for being away for so long i'm having trouble with my laptop.
first off i wanted to do my mind ya head lights, but messing around on the cables on the inside of the model i snapped acouple of the landing lights wires,so i desided to change out all the old landing lights and the wiring aswell
so i remade all the landing lights and next i started on the mind ya head lights i did want to use some 2mm fibre optics but i changed my mind and found some 3mm red LED's but i didn't like the look of them so i filed and shaped up the rounded heads to a better lookin part
next i started driling out where they go which was on the whole pretty easy, apart from the 2 which come out of the docking ring on the boarding ramp side,so i had to think on my feet and make a few more cuts to the bottom half of the model to get the wires to be frush with the styrene backing under the dockin ring
and here finally you can see the landing and mind ya head lights all wired up together and workin.
well thats it for this update, hope ya like...cheers peza
Lookin good there. Bummer on the lightin but it sure looks good now and looks like it was worth the effort. Damn that has come along heaps now. Really look the part, good work! :-)

EH UP ALL!HAPPY NEW YEAR!
well its that time again sorry for bein away for so long, but im here now.
i've been workin on the cockpit area, first off i made the floor and the backin plate for the cockpit .
next up i started on the doorway and the back wall.
and to get all the fibre optics in the back wall i made the back computer panels out of half mm styrene and drilled out the 2mm backin wall.
well after i drilled and fitted the back panels i put the fibre optics in and you can see what it's gonna look like.
.
i had a few issues with the lightin of the back wall first off i tried to use a torch bulb but the light wasn't bright enough so i used some LED's for the fibre optics and the back wall strip lights which are behind some clear styrene that has been sanded to make it appear frosted.here you can see the workin's.
and here in position with the cone on.
next up i started on the side walls and gave the whole front end a coat of matt black.on this photo you can see i've made a start on the front console's base, which is just made up of 1mm styrene and the hole is for more fibre optics to go in.
.
i think i may have to do another update to get all this in.so for this bit of my progress thats it....hope you like...cheers peza
pt 1 over...
right them pt 2
as i said i made up the base of the front console, now you can see the bottom piece and the painted up piece i'll use for the top which is in thin styrene so i can get more fibre optics in it.
and here with the fibre optics in and in position also.
if you look you can see i started to make up the flight controls, which i used some soldering wire and with the heat off a lighter it made the end bubble up.
the next flight controls i used some guitar strings off one of the kids old broken guitars(i think they have been watchin the Who)...
and the steering controls were some brass rod i found and some styrene i shaped up.
my next job was to start to make front seats just usin some styrene and some evergreen rod which i had to fill down into a semi circle for the cushions.
i finished one seat and gave it a coat of a sand tan colour but as you see it doesn't look right!
so i changed the colour to some citadel kommando khaki which i think looks a whole lot better.
well thats it for this post your all completely up to date now,i'm not gonna fit the front seats til the back ones are fitted...hope you like my progress and thanks for lookin.....cheers peza

I'm cheating by using DeAg parts (but only as a base) so it's always good to see a Falcon full scratch!
Eh up lee,I know what you mean,I've got the deag one myself, not Evan started building any of it yet,it's on the back burner!!cheers for support bro!thanks a lot
Peza......chris
as promised I have an update on the buzzard, I managed to finish off the cockpit a very long time ago but didn't take any photos when it was finished.i was and am still now abit getting nervous of my lack of airbrush skill and how close to the finish I am getting so I keep boxing it all up every year or so and jump on building some kits..the last kit was the old 1:24 airfix spitfire...
and it was a pig of a kit as the quick build then enjoy the airbrushing, the kit fought me all the way til I was happy to see the back of it...PIG OF A KIT!
so to get my mogo back I in boxed the beast not just to see to see what I've built but to see where I was gonna head off in building next. here are the photos I got straight out of its coffin.
And here are the rest of the shots I taken that day.
This last image is of the bit that I've chosen to build next.
so I made a start on the back quarter first
this was done with some plumbing pipe and loads of styrene of different thickness's,heres the plumbing pipe bit a made
and finished off ready for primer love
.
Next for the front quarter, I started right at the front with the idler lookin part which I robbed an old panther tank wheel with a lot of modding got it to look something like.
end on to the back section using some .70 soldering wire in some places.
I did finish off the other dockin ring but theres no need to go through how it was made it's just the same as the other!
to finish off here are the primer shots.
and the glory shpt of the side detail with new finished dockin ring
big thanks for lookin in,i'm not sure what to concentrate on next its either the gunners positions or the engines/where would you go if it was up to you? once again thanks peza
