Well this is taking up space sitting around Ive really just been lazy not mounting it. I scored some nice 'Hard Wood' routed the top & it should do ok. Its bloody heavy wood! The two bits of steel I'll use to mount it at two spots Im just a bit worried to use a single mount because of the shape. If anyone thinks it would be ok to just use one speak up. The plaque will look sweet in the corner 
Might give the wood a dark or blackish stain & some lacquer. If anyone has some ideas to make this little model look kool Im all ears
