Check this out. I really like how its looking. The way its displayed seems to have made the model look alot better than it did. Ive used two mounts just drilled into the wood & the just drilled the holes in the underside to do exactly what Doug suggested. Your suggestion was a good one too Phil. Im going to give this like a black stain which will look really good I think & tie in with the model, the steel supports & the plaque. Its only small but she's nearly 'Finished'

Then drilled correct size holes with cordless drill
