So I had decided to move forward & get about having the entire ship built up before more detailing. I am happy with the body so thought it best to get the neck & then the head completed.
Using a new technique of sizing up photos(not new just new to me) I discovered that the neck on the studio model is 'asymetrical' meaning crooked, uneven, warped or whatever it is other than being 'symetrically' even
Now this is something very common on this studio model & seriously does my & other builders heads in figureing out whether to correct the distortions
I ran this by Charles & he said that correcting it(which was done for the CR build) makes parts placement difficult to get right.......
You can see from my picture how different the two sides are!
