I don't see a "T" where the pipes are crossed. Did you braze or weld them directly together?
I'm always curious about armature techniques. Great work so far.
I'm thinking that some BSG style product logos on the containers would be cool. I didn't convince Phil to do a "Caprican Cigars" logo on his movers but maybe you'll go for it !!!!
LOL! Yeah, the long box is styrene,060, and it is really welded hence the large amount of filler, the welder(plastic) went to town on it, i guess because it was pure styrene?
The box is bolted to the pvc pipe through two stand offs.
I didnt use a "tee" because i wanted the joint to be smooth, but the cross bars are notched like a roll cage then i sweated the ends together and then filed and sanded the joints and used apoxie sculpt on it and sanded some more to smooth it all out, once its painted you shouldnt see where its joined.
if you ever wondered where the colonials got all of that stuff for new caprica, it came from these enormous container ships like this one, LOL.
i think that some logos would be cool too! I`ll have to get Talon to make some for me as he did the colonial salvage decals for me for that ship.
The cake is a lie!
