I have become quite proficient in scaling reference images to obtain dimensions on builds & now am using this skill to rewrite what we know & don't know on some of the studio models I will build.
If I had only had this skill earlier things would be much more progressed though am truly just thankful I have developed the technique to make quite accurate dimensions of studio model sub sections.
Ive been working on the arm sections & have revised measurements to what I believe are as accurate as anyone can get that hasn't put ruler to the actual studio model.
Pictures show my first forearm mockup made from independant arn frames & charles's arm plate measurements( have used other sources for arm frames).
What I have discovered is that the forearm & aftarms are slightly different in widths.
The middle is obviously wider than the fore & aft arms.
The measurements I have are what I have worked on which are different to what Charles has on his plans.
Because these dimesions are from my work I can share them.
It is for those that attempt to build this model that need to make the decision of which path they wish to use.
I just give what I have learnt through using the techniques I have developed to help myself try to build as accurate a replica as possible. In no way do I wish to demean or diminish what Charles Adams has contributed with his plans but only to enhance what he would inevitabley not be able to do because of contractual agreements I assume/expect would be in place with Custom Replicas.
Take them or leave them.
I am reviseing all subsections with the techniquie of resizing actual studio model images for all to use,
