Well there ya go, finally one of the little group of Shuttles we have here is finished. Bet thats a good feeling there for sure, well done mate!
The weathering has been an issue for me and to what point to take it. Your approach is very subtle looking compared to what i've achieved yet under bright light mine would look similar to yours i would think. I'm sure to your own eyes it is quiet a bit more weatherd looking than the pictures are showing as you mentioned.
For a flying brick that resembles a sad clown, it looks pretty good! LOL
