OK, the trenches on the bays are made outa C channel amd this is what creates the overhang or lips that you see.
All you'll need to do is get the closest strips that work with the design your working with. The sizing Mike used is larger than what i'll be using on my build by one size from memory.
Time to breakout that Plastruct catalog you have and see what will work on with them bays.
