??? Sorry, I should have been more clear. I don't mean to copy his work. I drew up plans of my own based on the SS ref of Red 5. I compared them to the V3 and felt that they matched pretty well. All I want to do is bump up my work against the pyro wings since it was taken from as actual ILM used bird.
I wouldn't abandon my plans. I've incorporated canon detail that I have not seen on any SS replica Red 5 so I hope that shows that I'm not out to straight up copy his pyro wings. Just needed another reference.....having a laser cutter at my disposal is awesome but making multiple cuts because of small errors is getting expensive. Basically, I'm cutting...bumping against the V3....adjusting the drawing...cutting....etc....
