Yup Wombie. You're right about using your better judgement to plug a hole. I figure I can always be pulled out by my webbed feet if I've misjudged?

Continuing with some refinements I cut the lil 'indentions' that flank the nose up front. Oddly, there are more than one version of the picture which made it into the Hard Cover SOTL calendar compilation. One has these indentations while another does not, showing flat faced panels? I chose the one published in the book for some added visual interest.

The Polar Lights Enterprise TOS has several bridge domes to choose from but the Bonaventure has what I'll call the 'Reliant or refit' style extended bridge with dome. Started out by laminating some styrene together to get a big enough block to carve the overall shape from. Also turned down the smooth top bridge dome kit piece to fit within it.
