Daves build reminded me of the Tie Bomber kit master I bought a while back.
An excersize I would rather forget but none the less I had a 'nearly' complete parts set &partial build just sitting in a box.
I thought screw it.
I may as well build this model.
Im not going to kit it, it already got done.
So I went throgh & dug the little bugger up.
Had a survey of the parts & sourced what was missing from my kits.
Noticed all I really needed was some styrene strip to detail the outer wings & some primer.
So off me & the kids went to the local model/toy shop in the rain & picked up some supplies.
40kms away....
Im going to bog up the outer wing joins & then detail with the styrene strip as per the studio model.
I also need to make a mount point on the centre piece with a bolt.
This is my sons first SS build as he's the one pushing to do it.
Should be fun.
I think the inner wing has a scribe line running around the outer edge of the wind also.
I need more reference as I don't seem to have much on this model.
