I think the red will look just fine.. Once you get that weathering layed on it's gonna look nothing like that at all as you well and truely know. Look forward to see what you dish up with that side of things.
As for ya hint of the surprise..They only thing i'm thinking is you are gonna shoot this bluscreen? The mount is covered either to keep paint off of it or it could be your hint perhaps????
