Red Dwarf Bigature

Thanks to the pics posted online by Steve and Neil (who built the original) a thread was started on the RPF by Tobot to build a replica. He's ended up drop out, but I've dived in head first :-) I'm not building the whole thing, but most!

Here's the target:


Started with a baseboard using some parts to scale from


Then laser cut some panels and detailed them (still parts missing)


Next to the name plate (still parts missing)


I'm not expecting to id everything as all sorts of junk and non kits were used, but I'm already closer than I expected.
