The styrene started at 1.5mm, you can count on around roughly 30% thinning depending on the shape. I think I showed the surface offset I added to the model on the RPF thread to account for it. But there's to many variables to account for so getting close is about as good as you can hope for. For the A-wing I'm going to try a female plug, That guarantees the pull is the exact same shape but the stretch zones are reversed. Will try it and see how it goes.
