I loved seeing how certain elements were similar yet different- like how one gets the wing tips at the same time the other loses them. An interesting study between the two.
Thanks for sharing this- it will be fun to watch and I can't wait to view your usual excellence in a finished piece!
Thank you, Sir.

What I'm seeing on the shuttle is that nearly all of the parts are scaled a either a little or a lot in the design. Most are scaled enough that original kit parts won't be usable unless the overall look is changed. For now I'm going to wait until JT graphics announces the size they'll go with for their version.

I've known for a little while this one has been on the drawing board so to speak and i personally think it's gonna be something very special,i actually like the design of this one quite a lot! That it's something thats never been done to my knowledge either will make it a very special build.
As you can all see,Doug knows a thing or two about drawing stuff up on a computer,me,i have know idea how it's done, but from what i've seen of his drawings this thing is gonna be fantastic. He's really thought out the whole thing and i'm keen to see the drawings transfered to the styrene and it start taking some real shape.
I'm more than happy to be able to contribute a few little part's to such a fantastic project mate!!
Looking forward to the drydock action!!
Thanks, Phil. I'm planning on cutting styrene tonight. I think the transfer method of the film to the ribs should be straightforward. I'm going to try the same thing with the layout on the disc the ribs will be glued to but not sure how that will work. My plan is to trim out the film where the ribs glue down but if the styrene glue reacts to the film I might have problem. If it does I'll have to mark the styrene through the film and then re-draw the layout. Not the end of the world but another tedious step.
