OK, well finished at last, managed to get a new camera to carry on playing photographing models, not the best results, but, I'm still learning and no expertÂ
.
Its been fun, more fun with a model in a long time, as this one took some tinkering to get the tones of the Floquil enamels i have used more or less correct, who's is to say as the ref material on this model conflicts massively.
The ILM table shots show the more or less correct tones and hues, yet the most recent ref changes the models actual tones in a drastic fashion.......mine does attempt to follow this most recent ref, but slight adjustments as not to darken her too much, a happy medium if you like.
Most of the decals, sadly are not correct and one i do need to source from Micromark still, but i was more than happy to apply them, as not to keep the model in mothballs for too much longer, one can obsess too much.....so this was an exercise in getting yet another model completed this year, and some more, much needed painting practice under my belt.
Best Regards.....Lee
