Look, I know we have all talked a lot of trash about making mistakes. I want to be one of the few to say that it's all part of making things from scratch. Even if you have a plan, it's no guarantee that all the parts will always fit perfectly. Don't feel bad - I'm a professional builder, and I still make mistakes ALL THE TIME! I've just learned to keep them small, and few, so that I don't waste a lot of materials doing it.
