Joe,thats all that matters mate!In all honesty though,it doesn't really matter what it looks like,it just needs to be able to do the job and,if it's a bit rough then the bonnet can stay shut in my case.
I understand the problem with welding and aluminium,but it can be done by people that actually know how to take care and make the right jig's to keep it all straight.I'm not really sure why you think you'd ever need to do much remodelling as you said.I think from your drawing that you've done this build of yours will be spot on or that close to it that only you are gonna know.Still,it's your build mate and you do exactly what you want with it my friend!!But do it soon cos,i wanna see some action out there from ya bud!!
