The shadow line of the shuttle under the model really looks like a flash went off. Maybe try photographing again.
Could be the power supply is not working properly? I got some pics of mine last night with the cockpit lights installed but didn't have time to post. Jase has the same bulbs and they are super bright with 12V.
Just checked your old posts and in post 79 the lights look right. I think it was just the photo in that last one. I know it's hard to get the lighting to look right using digital cameras. I think you're in good shape if they look more like in post 79.
