I just finished tearing one of those apart a week ago! I had to use a Dremel Moto-tool, and a cut off wheel to remove the bulb, which was imbedded into the base. This was nearly impossible to get out without breaking the reflector, as this is all glass! I got this from my uncle. He burned out the bulb after only having the track lighting bar this came out of for a few days. This has an irredescent blue colour on the inside, and a magenta colour on the outside, but in the right light this has an almost rainbow effect. I'm saving this for an orginal scratch build project.
