Julien, I don't know how you do it. Do you have any plans to do a stop motion video shoot because that thing is ready!
Nice to know there are others out there who have to settle for built kits, and the end result is the same. Don't sweat the paint, enjoy it for what it is... you can always come back to it later. I've got my training remote on the shelf only half finished, with ever intention of completing the matched weathering spot for spot. But for some reason I like to display the clean side instead. lol.
Your weathering feels very real to me. Its hard to spot which technique you used where so you must have done something right. Everything looks different in the final film anyway.
