Recieved the last of my parts from Mike today. All bar 1. Im going to scratch the missing part as its a flat shape anyway. I can do it 
So in the pictures with the bases I want opinions please.
1) Full length base
2) Short length base
I will be covering the wood with styrene & adding detail to it like an extension of the model rather than just a plain wooden base. Thinking of plating it, adding some spare kit parts etc. Maybe make it look like a piece of the Galactica hull or the Landing Bay?
