Just finished doing the pipeing for the sides & head. Im happy with the results. Wasted a couple of pieces of Butate Wire in the process but it was my first time 
On the Port Side i have made the top pipe its own. On the replica it is attatched to the middle pipe. On looking at the black & white reference pic from the top I believe I see it as its own pipe. Why it is bent at the vertical angle only they know but that is how I see it. So that is how I made it. Theres only a few bits to go. So close to actually finishing this kit its stressing me out.
