That's what we're here for, Jase! I've been living through you guys since I can't seem to pick up where I left off at. I was on fire for about a minute, then it all seem to come crashing down.
I think what quelled it for me was the acrylic I was cutting - it's hot and messy, plus getting it in your eye when forgetting your glasses doesn't help either! I wish I had a saw that I could use instead of a Dremel, that would help make straight cuts so I'm not sitting for hours sanding acrylic pieces straight by hand!
I'm glad that you got a chance to build a kit rather than starting completely from scratch for your first build. I hope this will inspire you to build more as long as you can afford to. I have kits that need special materials to complete, or an airbrush to finish them before I can proceed. This is a huge turn off, especially when you have no room to display them. This too, keeps me from wanting to go any further in modeling, as it seems that I can't get anywhere with it! I've lost my fire, and haven't built anything for a week now. Just keep going until you get to the end, and don't take a break unless you have to - I did and look what happened. Slow, and steady wins the race......slow, and steady.
