The part I indicated is absent on that side in every image I have of the studio model. Some details are not symmetrical.

I also noticed in the top view black and white that some of the parts are not in the same place relative to each other on each side. Without a clear image of the port side it's hard to duplicate or verify that asymetry.
I really wish that black and white photos of the other sides were available. I believe they are out there somewhere.
