I got hold of a fibre glass Judge's helmet and a resin Law Giver.
The helmet came with a gold chromed respirator plate.
I painted it using car paints which allowed me to polish it to a mirror like finish.

The Law Giver was a one piece resin cast.
The mold had seen better days, the barrel was warped and way off a true cross section, so I replaced it with a piece of metal pipe.
I also modified the ammunition selector so it was moveable.
The ribbing along the sides of the rear sight were riddled with air bubbles so I removed them and filled and sanded it all smooth.
I was then stuck with how to replace them when my wife pointed out that they looked like cable ties!
Quick trip to the local hard ware store and the problem was solved.
