Hullo, all! The 'Far Side' I reference relates to my apparent bent of humor, similar to Larson's comic strip 'The Far Side'. The reference to an old sci-fi movie is incidental! Glad to be aboard and hope I can contribute in some small way to the SS community. To be absolutely transparent, I am not normally a SS builder since my focus is on 1/48 scale (so a SS model for me would just be a happy-stance like the SW AT-AT filming miniatures...) However, I really love research and so will gladly participate along that intersection, such as the 5-Foot Millennium Falcom Decal Survey (findings artifacts are presently archived at my local modeling club's site [hamptonroadsscalemodelers.com] as downloadable files for easy public access.)
I feel collaboration is the name of the game in most endeavors and hence look forward to sharing with everyone here. Thanks again to Jase for getting me "in the door" - I hope I prove to be a worthy asset to the forum.
