Ok heres the equipment I bought to mainly stop expensive kits having to be sacrificed. Spend money to save money was the idea & I just thought this looked like a lot of fun that had rewards.
Vaccuum Chamber on left & Pressure Chamber on right. Both were bought through Sooth-On.
   

The Vaccuum chamber requires a Vaccuum Pump. A Vaccuum Pump is used by Refrigirator & Air Conditioniner technicians to suck out harmful gasses etc. It is recommeneded that the Vaccuum Pump pulls 29"mercury & has a minimum flow rating of 8cfm.
   
The next thing you need for Moulds is rubber. I use Mold Max 30 from Smooth-On. Soft but firm.

You need digital scales as you have a mix ratio of 100A to 10B
   
You will also need plenty of these. Lucky I have an unlimited supply from work.

Its great. I invested in something thats rewading & fun. Got some big projects that are personal builds but am also going to get a couple of 'good masters' to produce hopefully. No rush.

That's a nice setup you have. I just purchased a 5 and 10 gallon pressure pot and then just making lids from Lexan for the vacuum chambers. I was wondering if you know what is the size vacuum pumps I need for a 5 and 10 gallon pot. I was hoping to be able to just buy a 6 cfm pump for now to use with the 5 gallon pot and get a larger one later since they are so expensive.

Not only is that always cool but Jeez man- you could really get something going since there are so many hardcore modelers down under and you can cut out some big shipping for them!
Who knows- maybe someday the US (and elsewhere?) kit makers will co-op with you and send a master your way for just that reason. To reach the Pacific rim market at a lower overall cost????

I see that I came to the party too late! I thought you had everything you need, Jase. Either way, this will help a lot! I need some of the 350 - I have a canopy that I need to cast in clear resin for a customer.

Treker don't short on costs you will only waste money & materials.
Don I am eagerly awaiting proposals to cast for people. Thats why Im doing all this parts casting to show people what i can do & what I do gets better everyday. I will be getting a Roto Caster sometime soon also for big parts as it seems kits are getting bigger. I really enjoy the work & hope it to be something I do more of in the future. If you know anyone thats in need just give them my details.
