Thank you Phil, The way i did the splatter is with a stiff toothbrush.
I have a botttle of thinner that i had for years and its full of junk paint from cleaning brushes, i just added some grimey black to the mix and dipped the brush in it and "flicked" it over it at certian angles to get the desiered effect.

hey Chris, that part is from the r2 strip from the x-wing, the red y wing is the only one to have that part on it.

Yes. This is from the hyperdrive motivator. Hey,Jerry - can you get another Y from the same place you got this one? Are the vectoring struts made from resin,or brass? I know that most of this is copper tubing for authenticity,but did you replace some of the resin pieces for durability?

I dont think this kit is in production any longer, for Steve is coming out with new Ys.
The "T" rails are plastic from plastruct, most of the added stuff I cast, i have a lot of molds of parts that i use for greeblies.
