Been working on this for years. Here are some pics of my Falcon.

Very nice!!! I really like that radar dish. And you've not got too much further to go on your sidewalls. Bet you can't wait to get those all glued up.
Damn I'm really starting to feel like I'm getting left behind now. There's a part in the top pic I'd like to talk more about at some stage

I'm glad you finally post those pics Isel !
Awesome work, you got most of the parts so now glue them !  It's time to make some progress on this model ! I second KB's comment, the radar dish is awesome, and from what I understand you started off the fruehauf part... Heavily modded to match the original dish, shouldnt have been an easy task !

As Julien can attest, they've been like that for a loooong time. Seeing the stuff on here is getting me energized though! Especially with all the new finds!

Modified Fruehaf on the radar dish. ALOT of sanding.

Looking good Isel!
Not sure what measurements you had used for the hull, but i used the ones off the studioscale.com website and i believe those are slightly off as my falcon deck ended up too long. building in subassemblies is a really good idea!!

Thanks for the kind words. The dish took a considerable amount of time to do. Need to finish the back of the radar dish and get the sidewalls and access subassemblies done. I'm getting there! Isel Too much time and money invested to give up. I'll get her done. Could be wrong and I cant check my kit right now, but it looks to be from the Fujimi New Jersey.
That looks like one of the guns used on the BSG SS shuttle that has been hollowed out on the backside and with the guns removed. part 21?

I’m not sure this is the part that is used on the falcon. I just wanted to know what Isel used as it looks pretty close, right size etc.
The spacings between the openings is the main tell. If this were morse code then the falcon requires a ‘K’ thick thin thick (dash dot dash). This one is an ‘R’ (dot dash dot). I'll keep looking for K, but would still like to know what you've used here Isel

The New Jersey was used on ANH stuff but I've never found any part on any of the TESB models but it doesn't mean it was not used on TESB stuff !
m Sorry guys I've been on travel and lost track of the thread! I'm pretty sure I used the 1/700 Hasegawa Ticonderoga for that part. Same as on the front of the ANH SD. It has parts without guns.
Hadn't noticed the differences in width of the openings. Looks like I may be on the hunt again for the correct part. I don't think the Fujima New Jersey is right either. Same problem. Isel'

At least someone is working on one of these full time, and not clowning around (me) with other things. I just wish I had all the parts for my own build, I wouldn't be so easily distracted!

Oops I just primered the back part of the radar antenna. I'll keep the rest primer free. I'd be happy to answer any questions. At least for what I remember.

Well its been a while since I posted, but I finally made some more progress on the radar dish. I also found a part. The Hasegawa Tirpitz (same part as on the port sidewall) is in there. Nothing is glued down yet. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the right shape to the Entex wheel rim.

Here are some better pics. I've done some work on the rim and will be gluing everything down tonight.
